Join Tech in Motion for the first session of Inside Tech's Fastest-Growing Markets to look beyond the AI headlines and explore what's powering the boom, what's standing in its way, and where today's technology professionals can take their skills next.

  • What's driving unprecedented investment in AI infrastructure
  • The talent bottlenecks slowing data center growth
  • High-demand roles across engineering, IT, networking, cloud and operations
  • The transferable skills needed to successfully move into digital infrastructure
  • What talent and hiring trends to watch through H2 2026

The data center hiring market rewards speed and skill in equal measure. Job seekers who pursue certifications and stay flexible on location will beat out the 85% of applicants who don't meet minimum qualifications. Hiring managers, meanwhile, need to stop competing for the same shrinking talent pool. Poaching only drives up costs sector-wide. The companies winning right now are building hire, train, deploy pipelines and pulling skilled workers from telecom, utilities, and adjacent trades. That talent is already out there. It just needs the right path in."
