Arlene Wube serves as the President and Chief Operations Officer at Arlo Solutions and is responsible for managing the company. In this role, Arlene has helped evolve Arlo to compete in the federal market. Arlene strategically analyzes, develops, and implements the company's functions such as day to day operations, contract compliance, financial, and human resources activities of the organization.
Since graduating from Howard University with a degree in Computer Information Systems, she has held positions as both a Financial Analyst and Business Analyst at several Fortune 500 companies, including Allstate Insurance Company in Northbrook, IL and Northrop Grumman Information Technology in Alexandria, VA. Arlene has over 10 years of experience running a small business and exhibiting a strong understanding of marketing, operational needs, and information systems. Arlene applies her extensive experience in Marketing and Information Technology to her position at Arlo Solutions with a goal to become the governments go-to company for cybersecurity and program support solutions.
Arlene values the importance of giving back to the community. She is a board member of UrbanPromise, a non-profit youth organization based in Camden, NJ, where she was born and raised. She has strong roots in this program, working as a mentor to young children in her earlier years, and was later given the opportunity to bring it full circle through the Ambassadors of Hope Scholarship Fund, which she founded in September 2010. The Ambassadors of Hope has awarded 109 scholarships ranging in amounts from $57 for a textbook to $7,000 for a tuition shortfall. Giving back to the community has been a driving force behind the vision for Arlo Solutions, to include being an example to all women that there is no limit to their success as long as they strive and persevere.
Serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Arlo Solutions, Lonye Ford is responsible for the recruitment of specialized cleared subject matter experts, business development, and the company’s strategic planning. Ford builds key strategic business relationships and teaming agreements. She also develops networks and collaboration across boundaries, finding common ground with a diverse range of affiliations to increase revenue and contracting opportunities.
Ford earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Hampton University, and went on to earn an M.B.A from Strayer University. With over 10 years of duty in the United States Air Force, Ford acquired an expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. As a government contractor for over 16 years, she has managed projects and portfolios from 2 million to $1.5 Billion, and has managed 50 persons teams.
Through her expansive experience, she acquired an in-depth knowledge of information technology that allows her to lead Arlo into new frontiers to capture significant market share as a small business.
Born and raised in the southside of Chicago, she knows the value of mentorship and being present in communities where representation truly matters. In 2017, she was afforded the wonderful opportunity to partner with Dwayne Wade’s sister on one of her “America’s Big Sister” events for over 250 young girls. Sharing her story with faces that resembled her own was a pivotal moment for her, and this is where she realized her hard work goes beyond her and her family. After her speech, hearing young girls say they wanted to be engineers, work in IT, and asking her what it takes to be in her field, she was more motivated than ever to continue to spend late nights and early mornings filling out RFPs/contracts for Arlo Solutions. For over five years, she has personally chosen families to “adopt” for Christmas. She funds the “adopted” family’s Christmas day by purchasing gifts for each family member (to include winter coats and shoes), and stocks the recipient’s refrigerator so that the family can enjoy a Christmas meal. She also hosts the family at her home if preparing their own meal is not an option. Her charity and ability to open her door, heart, and mind has no limit.
