Brian is a Chicago native living in Jefferson Park with his wife and two Beagles (Rocky & Luna). He enjoys exploring all the cultures and foods of the world, and as a musician I love playing any instrument I can get my hands on. I spend my free time doing Peloton, playing video games, exploring new restaurants, and listening and writing new music! I am a true tech nerd as an avid smart home automation DIYer and have a passion for tinkering with things.

Fouad Bousetouane, Ph.D., is a visionary technical leader, business-minded machine learning expert, and advocate for the responsible use of AI. He is currently the Director of Machine Learning, Vision AI, and Innovation at W.W. Grainger. Dr. Fouad is a leading expert in AI and machine learning, with over 40 publications and 10 patents. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Timmy-Award Best-Tech-Manager in Chicagoland 2020 and the Best Innovation of the Year from AIJRF-Dubai. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and events, and he has been featured in media outlets such as MIT Technology Review Arabia.

JC's career in technology began when he started a dial-up ISP with some friends in college (way back in 1997) to help provide better internet access to students on campus. As part of this process he fell into a love of software engineering and product development. Since then, he has held roles from individual contributor, to product manager, to software architect, to program lead, to company founder. For the last 13 years, JC has run Made In Tandem, a custom software firm focused on building software that runs the core workflows of complex businesses with rich data environments. JC lives in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago with his husband and their Labrador Retriever, Lucy. In his spare time he plays the piano and guitar, reads anything he can get his hands on, and occasionally snaps a photo.
